III. 10+2 with minimum 50% Marks (in PCM) (#)

II. 50% Marks in Diploma in respective branch. (#)
III. B.Sc. with Mathematics obtaining minimum 50% marks (#)
(C) M.B.A. (4 Semesters/2 Years) (D) M. Tech Mechanical Engineering (CAD CAM), (4 Semesters/2 Years)
I. Through MAT / CAT / XAT
II. Through Combined Entrance Test Conducted by All India Association of Technical and Professional Institutions under the supervision of Permanent Committee, Government of Jharkhand. (For Fresh Graduates)		 Eligibility : B.E. / B. Tech Degree or equivalent in Mechanical / Production Engineering / Mechatronics / Industrial Engineering with minimum 60 % marks in aggregate. Few Seats are available for sponsored Candidates.
Selection : GATE Score / Screening Test and interview.

NOTE
  • For all admissions except A (I) & B (I), candidates have to apply in prescribed Application Form available at the Institute’s Admission Office on payment of Rs.500/- in Cash.
  • Application Forms can also be DOWNLOADED from The Institute’s WEB SITE & filled-up forms along with all NECESSARY documents and a DD for Rs.500/- in favour of Cambridge Institute of Technology, Payable at Ranchi can be couriered to the Institute’s admission office.

IMPORTANT DATES : All Applications for Admission in Category A(II & III), B(II & III), M.B.A. & M.Tech. to be submitted on or before 18.07.2011.

However, the above Fees may be changed any time subject to the decision by the Fee Fixation Committee of Govt. of Jharkhand.

HOSTEL : Separate Hostels for Boys and Girls are available.

NOTE#-

  • Ragging in any form within the Institute premises and Hostels is a punishable crime as per Hon’ble Supreme Court Order.

  • Consumption of any type of Intoxicating material is Strictly Prohibited. Violators will be punished in the form of Removal From The Hostel / Fine of
    Rs.25000.00 / Rustication from The College / Debarred from examination for one / two Semester(s).
     

In every year Admissions is going to be held from 1st week of July through counseling by the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Examination Board.

 . Admissions are made according to merit, subject to reservations for various categories according to the policy
  of the State Govt.

 . On the day of counseling, the candidate can choose the institute and branch based on the vacant position
   displayed.

 . Admission to 3rd Semester through Lateral Entry Scheme, for 10% of the sanctioned intake, the candidate
   should pass Diploma/Polytechnic in respective branch with minimum 60% marks or B.Sc. with Maths.

 . The students desirous of seeking admission in 3rd Semester need to appear in the JCECE examination
   conducted by the State Govt.
